Hygie’s FACILI-T™ folding commode chair combines three pieces of equipment in one: a commode chair, retractable grab bars, and an adjustable raised toilet seat.
Designed in Quebec, primarily for homes and private residences, this chair is also useful wherever space is limited. It is easy to fold for storage in a closet or under the bed.
It is used with a bottomless basin seat. When the chair is not being used over the toilet, a bag (hygienic liner) is added to the basin seat and an absorbent pad is placed inside it. This pad can gel up to 700 ml of liquid in 30 seconds. After use, simply tie the bag and dispose of it. The tasks involved in emptying and cleaning traditional basins are eliminated.
