Merchandise Return Policy: Online Purchases

1-All returns must be authorized by Customer Service.

2-The return form must be completed for each merchandise return.

3-Each return request must provide the following information:

• Customer’s name and address
• Invoice number
• Invoice date
• Customer purchase order number
• Quantity, item number, and description
• Reason for return
• Lot number 
• Expiry date

4-Return delivery will be coordinated with Customer Service, which will inform the customer of the shipping method and the location to which the merchandise must be shipped. A return merchandise authorization (RMA) number will be issued and must be clearly indicated on the box or boxes containing the returned merchandise. The return must be made within 3 days after the RMA is issued. A refund will be issued once the merchandise has been received and inspected to our satisfaction. 

Hygie Canada reserves the right to charge shipping, return, and restocking fees on returned items. Products purchased on promotion and/or products that become unsellable once opened are non-refundable for hygiene reasons. Modified or discontinued items cannot be returned.

Initial shipping fees are non-refundable. For purchases that benefited from free shipping, shipping fees will be deducted from the refund amount. 

5-Merchandise ordered by mistake may be returned and will be subject to a restocking fee of 25% of the total invoice amount; transportation costs will be borne by the customer.

Certain products, such as the Facili-T™ folding commode chair, may be returned within ten (10) days of receiving the order, in perfect resalable condition, with the seal (tie-wrap) intact, in their original unopened packaging, and with the documentation, manuals, parts, and accessories.

6-Merchandise shipped by mistake may be returned at Hygie Canada’s expense, using a carrier of its choice.

7-No returns will be authorized in the following cases:

• Expired products or products that will expire in less than six months;
• Partial sales units;
• Merchandise with an invoice date that is 20 days old or older;
• Products that have been opened or removed from their original packaging.

8- Hygie agrees to cover transportation and item replacement costs if the error was its own.
